Galerie LUCIA NOVALIS is vereerd uitgenodigd te zijn voor de 40ste editie van de KunstRAI, een van de oudste en meest veelzijdige kunstbeurs van Nederland, die van 30 april tot 4 mei 2025 in Amsterdam plaatsvindt. Ter gelegenheid van het 750-jarig bestaan van de stad presenteren wij met trots de bijzondere groepsexpositie ‘AMSPHORIA’ – een levendig en kleurrijk kunstfeest dat de creatieve energie van Amsterdam omarmt.
Op onze stand (stand 80) brengen we vier bijzondere kunstenaars samen: Selma Dronkers, Monique Dukker, Carlos Silva en Erica Welling. Elk werk is een weerspiegeling van de hedendaagse kunstscene, van de poëtische en natuur-geïnspireerde werken van Selma Dronkers, de levendige schilderijen van Monique Dukker, tot de sprankelende kleurwereld van Carlos Silva en de intense fotografie van Erica Welling.
‘AMSPHORIA’ is een uitnodiging om de rijke diversiteit en schoonheid van de hedendaagse kunst te ontdekken, waarbij ieder kunstwerk een verhaal vertelt dat je meeneemt naar een andere wereld. Deze unieke expositie biedt een gelegenheid om kunst te ervaren die de zintuigen prikkelt en de geest verrijkt.

In celebration of Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, we proudly present the special group exhibition ‘AMSPHORIA’ – a vibrant and colorful art celebration that captures the creative energy of the city.
At our stand (booth 80), we bring together four exceptional artists: Selma Dronkers, Monique Dukker, Carlos Silva, and Erica Welling. Each work reflects the contemporary art scene, from Selma Dronkers’ poetic and nature-inspired works, Monique Dukker’s vivid paintings, to Carlos Silva’s sparkling use of color and Erica Welling’s intense photography.
‘AMSPHORIA’ is an invitation to discover the rich diversity and beauty of contemporary art, where every piece tells a story that transports you to another world. This unique exhibition offers an opportunity to experience art that stimulates the senses and enriches the mind.

SELMA DRONKERS
Verdeelt haar tijd tussen haar studio aan land in Nijmegen en haar studio aan boord van haar zeilboot. Haar werk is sterk beïnvloed door haar langere verblijven op zee, waar niets is wat het lijkt en alles in één klap kan transformeren. Haar werk bevindt zich in particuliere collecties in Europa en Amerika, evenals in de collectie van de gemeente Nijmegen. Selma heeft speciaal voor de KunstRAI nieuw werk gemaakt, komt dat zien!
Selma is tijdens de KunstRAI op VRIJDAG 2 MEI a.s. van 17 -21 uur aanwezig op onze stand tijdens de ARTIST NIGHT, zie ook het speciale programma: Artist Night KunstRAI
Divides her time between her studio on land in Nijmegen and her studio on board her sailboat. Her work is strongly influenced by her extended stays at sea, where nothing is what it seems and everything can transform in an instant. Her work is in private collections in Europe and America, as well as in the collection of the municipality of Nijmegen. Selma has created new work especially for the KunstRAI, come and see it!

MONIQUE DUKKER
Haar werk is sterk geïnspireerd door de natuur en ze is gefascineerd door kleur en beweging. Haar doel is om de essentie van de natuur vast te leggen in haar kleurkeuze, compositie en de bewegingen van haar penseelstreken. De bemiddelende rust van de natuur vormt de kern van haar grotere pigmentschilderijen. Ze probeert voortdurend haar vermogen te ontwikkelen om de kwaliteiten van de natuur tot uitdrukking te brengen en doet dit op veel verschillende manieren. Ook Monique zal tijdens de KunstRAI NIEUWE, nog niet eerder tentoongestelde, werken exposeren!
Monique is tijdens de KunstRAI op VRIJDAG 2 MEI a.s. van 17 -21 uur aanwezig op onze stand tijdens de ARTIST NIGHT, zie ook het speciale programma: Artist Night KunstRAI
Her work is strongly inspired by nature and she is fascinated by color and movement. Her goal is to capture the essence of nature in her choice of color, composition and the movement of her brushstrokes. The mediating tranquility of nature forms the core of her larger pigment paintings. She continually seeks to develop her ability to express the qualities of nature and does this in many different ways. Monique will also be exhibiting NEW, previously not earlier exhibited, works during the KunstRAI!

CARLOS SILVA
De Colombiaanse kunstenaar Carlos Silva woont sinds 1999 in Berlijn. Zijn werk richt zich op het ‘oog van het menselijk lichaam’ door middel van een niet-representatieve, maar geordende combinatie van kleur en vorm. Hij gebruikt veel levendige kleuren, waarbij elke tint zorgvuldig is gekozen en in de compositie is geplaatst. Carlos heeft speciaal voor de KunstRAI meerdere nieuwe werken gemaakt, een feest voor het oog!
Speciaal vanuit Berlijn zal Carlos tijdens de KunstRAI op onze stand aanwezig zijn op VRIJDAG 2 MEI a.s. van 17 -21 uur tijdens de ARTIST NIGHT, zie ook het speciale programma: Artist Night KunstRAI
The Colombian artist Carlos Silva is based since 1999 in Berlin. His work is directed at the ‘human body’s eye’ through a non-representational, but ordered, combination of colour and form. He uses a lot of vibrant colors, with each hue carefully chosen and placed in the composition. Carlos has created several new works especially for the KunstRAI, a feast for the eyes!

ERICA WELLING | MR-ONTWERP
Is opgeleid aan de Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving (ArtEZ) in Arnhem. Haar werk bestaat voornamelijk uit fotografie(techniek). Ze onderzoekt het afwijkende, anders zien, authenticiteit, intensiteit en heeft een passie voor licht, kleur en grafische elementen en vormen. Op zoek naar ‘het voelen van het zien’. Omdat Goethe het al zei: ‘licht, duisternis en kleur samen zijn het enige dat het ene object voor het oog van het andere onderscheidt en de delen van het object van elkaar onderscheidt’. Speciaal voor de KunstRAI heeft Erica het NIEUWE WERK ‘Amsterdam 750’ gemaakt! Erica is aanwezig om een toelichting te geven!
Erica is tijdens de KunstRAI op VRIJDAG 2 MEI a.s. van 17 -21 uur aanwezig op onze stand tijdens de ARTIST NIGHT en houdt een presentatie over de kleurenleer en in het bijzonder de kleurenleer van GOETHE, zie ook het speciale programma: Artist Night KunstRAI
Is graduated from the Academy of Art and Design (ArtEZ) in Arnhem. Her work mainly consists of photography (technique). She investigates the deviant, seeing differently, authenticity, intensity and has a passion for light, color and graphic elements and shapes. In search of ’the feeling of seeing’. Because Goethe said it: ‘light, darkness and color together are the only thing that distinguishes one object from another to the eye and distinguishes the parts of the object from each other’. Erica has created the NEW WORK ‘Amsterdam 750’ especially for the KunstRAI! Erica is present to meet you and provide an explanation!
Erica will be present at our stand during the KunstRAI on FRIDAY 2 MAY FROM 5 PM – 9 PM during the ARTIST NIGHT and gives an presentation on the theory of colors and in particular GOETHE’s theory of colors , see also the special program: Artist Night KunstRAI
